Jewlery box with unique five blade pinwheel
This jewelry box was designed using AutoCad. It is made from Walnut with inlay materials of Holly, Cherry, Maple, Redheart and African walnut. The base is a full Ogee cut with a shaper and with scrolled front cut on a bandsaw. The box uitlizes lock miters cut on a shaper. The interior is lined with adhesive backed red velvet. The unique five blade pinwheel was layed out at 72 degree angles and then cut using a small router and a circle cutting jig. The finish is semi-gloss catalyzed varnish over clear Danish oil. The box is 18-1/4″ x 11-1/4″ x 6-1/2″.
