Writing Desk for a friend

A straightforward writing desk with one side being not straightforward at all.
I got hold of a very massive slab of red oak which had been sitting in storage for the past 30 years and my friend needed a proper desk. The 3cm thick top was bookmatched and the wenge front, which is hiding the computer, glued together from 22 segments cut to a precise angle. Glue-up of the round section took two days starting with joining two sections at a time.
I put on two coats of beeswax and two coats of varnish for the top.
