Quibell decided to turn this presentation bowl (13-1/2 in. wide by 6 in. high) after acquiring a particularly amazing piece of big-leaf maple burl wood. “The bowl form let me display the fantastic grain of the burl as well as the coarse, natural surface along the edge.”
