Ruhlmann-inspired Dressing Table
Woodworker: Kent Odell
Inspired by the French Art Deco movement and the work of Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, Odell’s dressing table of bubinga, holly, and poplar (16 in. deep by 44 in. wide by 38 in. high), was designed with a flip-top lid and interior storage. “The most interesting part of the build was coopering the urn base at the back and shaping the stave legs.”
