I love this design. What were you looking at when you decided upon the various elements of the piece? It is really balanced and has a pleasing architectural quality to it.

The scale and proportion are critical, and I sketched this piece out on plywood sheets at full actual size before I started.
This really helps and only takes 30 minutes.
Still there are subtle changes that you come up with during the build. My background is architecture which comes in handy once in awhile.
But, these are only tricks and tools used on putting together this jigsaw puzzle.
The risk & rewards are enormous in this business of building custom furniture. You are under the gun to get it done in the time frame you bid it at. Shipping to Singapore
or anywhere is really expensive, and then when it is installed the Client has to love it.... or you have big problems getting paid.
In the end it is worth it, 40 years and still love my job!
