Harvest Table
This was my first large furniture project. White Oak Harvest Table with a Qtr Sawn Oak top that is 1-1/8″ thick and fitted with Walnut breadboard ends. The overall dimensions are 99″ x 41″ x 31″. Legs are 4-1/2″ and were pre-ordered. I used mortise and tenon joinery to attach aprons and legs, and although I am not certain they were needed, I added cross corner bracing for good measure.
I know that I would not have even attempted this if not for the beautiful Mike Pekovich Tool Chest and the joinery skills I acquired completing that project. What a confidence booster that was! Thanks also to all of the FWW contributors here who share so much of their knowledge!
