Physical therapy in the shop

After thirty five years of woodworking I had a table saw kickback which yeilded me a steel plate and a hand full of screws holding my wrist bones together and a 30% permanent disability. While in physical therapy,making cutting boards in my shop was my own physical therapy. I don’t think that you can keep a woodworker out of the shop. Actually, being in my shop got me thru the whole miserable experience. Eleven months later I’m ready to go back to work in a medium capacity. SAFETY FIRST IN THE SHOP !

The wrist injury is bad news and I am sorry to hear it.
