vocal recording booth
so, as a drummer of 26 yrs, now 30 yrs old, i slowly couldnt get rid of a constant want to build as my mom side of fam own a big furniture store i grew up in with, and my dads side were master woodsmith living in japan long times learning jointry. but till a yr ago i was only music, but now ive began to join the, dont know if it d be the dark or bright side lol. but my inner want to create. and after some studio buddies of mine seen some projects i had done asked me to build a vocal booth that not only created the perfect amound of sound absorbtion and a finely tuned resonant freq overall, but also to be portable so it could be broken down into sections and loaded and moved fairly easy. which with extensive knowledge of sound engineering had no idea how to make 6 walls that were all decoupled and floating upon another to make a rigid non vibrating room, but i spent more hrs than i even know reaserching and designing on paper and in google sketchup finally after many fails was able to complete it. which i know understand what my grampa ment when he told me there is nothing like having no clue how to even begin something u dont know how to do and keep trying and failing, almost giving up and quitting time again to finally finish it all on ur own. its a feeling that is a beauty of being alive. and realizing all those hrs of failing were really just an efficiant way for me to practice many dif techniques in woodworking that will carry from project. but this is my first post ill start uploading some my other recent projects.
