Circular Pedestal Dining Table Rousseau style
Using Timothy Roussseau`s basic design , I opted to make a circular Pedestal Dining Table in European Oak. Next time for the short column instead of making it from two splined pieces with precut tenons in each piece , I would opt to make a one piece nine inch column and cut the twin tenons in one go. This method ensures a perfect alignment and eliminates the process of splining two pieces.

Nice table.
Well done!
P.S.
Your comment on the single column and tenons makes very good sense.
Good luck in the shop!
Nice..I've been using free oak wood from pallets to make some really cool projects and selling them for some extra income. I've got thousands of woodworking plans to build. Here's where I got all my wordworking plans http://tinyurl.com/ntgfwjb
