Drum Lamp Pendant with unique lamp base

The drum light pendant is the result of my desire to use every part of the tree I possibly can and still produce a hand made, functional, and artistic product. The translucent skin of wood are thick hand plane shavings from pieces of firewood which I shave and mold by hand.
The base is supported by three short legs mortised into the base which allows the electrical wiring to be routed from the bottom in any direction.
This is one of ten unique light pendant and base designs that I recently began making from material that most would consider useless, or useful as firewood.
