Contemporary Murphy bed that folds into the cabinet
This is a murphy bed that I built in a contemporary style. I modified the plans and made the verticals 2 1/4″ thick. I also changed the header that same. After adding 2 1/4″ base molding, I now have an even fram all around the murphy bed.
This was built using mostly Maple plywood and some poplar. I finished it in a white lacquer with some brused chrome bar pulls.
