This is a murphy bed that I built. I added bookcases to the top and on the side, so there is lots of storage.
There is a hiddend desk in the face. I actually inset this desk so that the doors are flush and not as noticiable. I visial demonstration on how the desk works can be seen in this video: Murphy Bed Video
The finish is an antique finish. I sprayed two coats of white lacquer undercoater, then glazed it with a brown color glaze and the sealed it up with a clear lacquer.
