Going Greene
End tables commissioned by folks partial to craftsman style but wanting something with a bit more visual appeal. Accordingly, I added chestnut burl veneered top and aprons to the African mahogany frame design that I’ve used previously, and included some Greene and Greene details-exposed joinery, cloud lift details, ebony pegs , leg caps, and splines . The pieces are finished with brown mahogany gel stain and multiple coats of poly.
