This is a platform bed I built and designed.  A common problem for kids rooms and adding drawers under the bed is the rooms are so small and sometimes the bed needs to go against the wall.  My solution was to put the drawers on one side and add a false panel for the other.  

 

I did allow access to the otherwise dead space by adding doors.  I know if it is going against the wall the door on this will not be accessed, but I put it there if ever needed.  

 

I also designed it to be reversible.  The false panel can be flipped and the drawers rotated to work as a left or right. 

 

The wood used on this project is Maple with a clear coat only.
