New Work Bench
It was time for me to build a new workbench, and I remembered one that I saw in a 2007 FW magazine. The design was by Cecil Braeden and it intrigued me at the time. I ended up taking an intermediate woodworking class and the project was our own workbench. It has been my go-to bench for nearly ten years but I felt that I needed more work space along with more storage. The result was what you see in the photo. Since the picture I have added dog holes and am going to add some drawers in the upper section so I can have my planes and chisels at hand. It’s slightly smaller than the one Cecil made but it fits nicely in my shop. The old bench is now for tablesaw outfeed and extra working area.

You are going to get a lot of good use out of this bench.
Nice work!
Thanks, Jurgen01! It's already getting dirty.
