Sophie’s Jewelry Box

I created this jewelry box for the daughter of a long time friend as a Christmas gift.

I used spalted maple source from the farm that I grew up on in SE Wisconsin. For the door I resawed a small piece that had interesting figure and veneered it over baltic birch.

One coat of Rubio Monocoat finish
