White Oak Clock
Woodworker:
Charles Maxwell
Pittsford, N.Y.
This is the 10th all-wood clock Maxwell has made since he retired from the Navy in 2006. He saw his first wooden clock in 1982 and promised his wife he’d build her one someday. “She chuckled at the thought,” he says. Twenty-five years later she got her clock. The clock shown here was made as a wedding gift for his daughter. The pendulum bob is formed into a circle to symbolize unconditional love.
