WORK BENCH
I took woodworking classes in high school 1966-1969. I found a work table at a high school auction last year that was from a school built in 1964. the 51 year Maple top was in need of repair. I milled off 1/2 in of Maple ,installed new Maple sides and routered in 3 new Maple strips on top. Rebuilt 2 Columbia vises, added a base and extra storage and repainted the metal compartments. The wood working table is now ready for many more years of pleasure and memories.

Nice rebuild.
This brings back memories of the shop classes I enjoyed in high school. They helped keep me interested in school and I am sad that fewer schools now have industrial arts programs available for their students.
Great work on the bench!
Thanks. It was a fun project to bring new life to.
