New To Turning
I have been mostly a self-taught woodworker though I do rely on Youtube videos and gleaning from others experience. My dad loved working with his hands on projects and though I never gave it much attention something must have rubbed off.
I really enjoy woodworking and am detailed enough to have become decent at it. Turning is a lot of fun. I have not mastered the fine finish work yet with a tool although one tip I have learned was using a sanding sealer on my piece before doing my sanding. I have to take my lathe outside due to the fumes and still need to wear a mask, but the “wet” sanding makes up for less than great tool work.
I’m still looking for an easier/more effective way to drill the center holes in a grinder if anyone has suggestions?
