This sideboard was commissioned by a very nice couple in Cleveland, OH.  The design was modified from a previous piece that I had just recently finished ( I will post that one at a later date).  They saw it in my portfolio and wanted to make it work for their needs.  

We made it taller, cut 12″ off the length and added a drawer.  I was able to find some beautiful gummy cherry boards for the carcass and some ridiculously figured ambrosia maple boards for the drawers and door panels.  

This entire piece was created using solid wood and finished with a wipe on polyurethane.
