Non-traditional, contemporary chair for vanity table
I wanted to make a delicate, light and non-traditional chair for my wife’s vanity table. The rim of the chair is curly maple. Each leg is steam bent, air-dried quarter sawn oak with 3 laminated layers formed into an inverted U shape. There is a tiny amount of spring in the legs, not detectable when sitting on the chair, but just enough that all legs carry some weight, even if the floor/carpet is not perfectly flat.

Gorgeous wood, and a very cool design. Nice job.
