Art Window
I watched my mother do stained glass for years, but never interested. Like so many, my bucket of cutoffs filled up. Can’t say how it came to mind but I thought of doing a stained glass replica of a F.L. Wright Stained Glass window out of various woods including koa, purpleheart, black walnut, maple, oak, osage orange, padauk, ironwood, redwood burl, and cherry; and leaving them naturally colored. Each piece was cut 1/4 thick and glued on to luan. Finish is gloss poly. Was more tedious than originally expected but turned out to be relaxing in a way.
