This was my first piece of real furniture. Probably have over 150 hours work into it over about 6 months (and I enjoyed every moment, both good and bad, even working in my garage during those long hot summer days here in Texas). But the best moment was when the crib was moved into my daughter’s room and she saw it for the first time and her eyes lit up, and the smile on her face. That night was the first time she slept in her room and she slept all night by herself.
The bed is constructed of all curly maple and the mattress supports are black walnut.
