Arvid the Long – A Modern Bench in Walnut

A gorgeous Viking-inspired Fine Furniture piece named ‘Arvid the Long.’ I designed and built this piece with Viking ships in mind, gaining inspiration from their gorgeous boats. Fairly simple, yet time-consuming build seeing as how much of the joinery is chiseled by hand. The navy webbing paired with walnut wood really capture the nautical & masculine feel I was going for! Wouldn’t mind doing many wood/webbing combinations in the future!
