Her – An Emotive Tigerwood, Brazilian Cherry Console Table

An emotive console table I designed and built out of Tigerwood (Goncalo Alves) and Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba). These exotic hardwoods were somewhat difficult to work with in terms of density, but the results are worth it! I finished the Tigerwood with Tung oil and the Jatoba got a wet sanding with Danish Oil, resulting in a silky smooth feel. I love when furniture comes to life… my next emotive piece is in the works!
