Arc Desk

My final student project at the Vermont Woodworking School – a curved birch veneer desk with four drawers. I wanted to challenge myself to design a desk that didn’t have a traditional back or front. This piece has four drawers, three with bent drawer fronts and one with bent sides, that come out in three directions. All the veneer is shop-sawn red birch and the web frames and bottom panels are cherry. The drawer bottoms are painted cherry plywood, to add some color!
