The Jezebel
David did many things to support his family, but his first love was always boats.
The Jezebel was his classic design, which gently cruised the inland sounds between the British Columbia mainland and Vancouver Island.
The veneers were cut using the double bevel method.
The piece is 13” x 10”.
Woods:
sea – curly mango
boat hull, window surrounds – ebony
bottom keel – blood wood
holly – deck and cabin
hawsers – aniegre –
cabin super structure & other trim features – satinwood
other boat trim and hatch cover – honduran mahogany
dock – olive wood
Framed in curly black walnut.
Finish is padded shellac and wax
