I used local Ash and Walnut , with Walnut Burl veneers on the drawer fronts. Even the knobs and pulls were made locally. I decided to use the contrasting Ash as cockbeading which I think lightened up the look a bit.

The leg cuff banding was tough... Hand held router plane made all the difference.

Yep, I used a dovetail jig. Someday, I will graduate to hand cutting the dovetails.
