mid 1700’s reproduction tavern table with cabriole legs and a porringer curly maple top
Built entire table base using 3 1/4″ square lengths of soft maple for the legs & table skirt. Porringer top made from (4) matched 5/4 thick, rough cut curly maple planks. Entire table was stained using water based dyes. Finish consisted of sequential coats of tung oil, dewaxed shellac, and water based polyurethane
