This was a custom order where I was told the design had to be a original Darren Taylor. The client has been a fan for some years. After the death of her husband she decided that it was time to order something. I decided on the Japanese Cherry Blossoms because of the traditional significance of the flower.
This piece is a cherry demi-lune with three drawers. The tree and branches are black walnut, the flowers and soft maple with sand shaded petels and sapele center. The leaves are Poplar where I used the grain to defin a center vain.
