Apple Burl Bowl

I took out a crab apple tree and dried this pieces for a number of years with no plans for it. It was an odd shape. It was like a small tree and grown out of a much larger stump. I flipped it over and noticed it looked like a bowl, but I don’t own a lathe so I put it away for another couple years. I happened to see an advertisement for the Lancelot Carving Wheel and thought I would give it a try. Pretty happy with my results.
