277- Veneered Liquor Cabinet

Lokken made this veneered liquor cabinet while a student at Rhode Island School of Design. The internal curved-front drawer has angled hand-cut dovetails. “I enjoyed overcoming the technical challenges of this piece. The top is pie wedged and all eight ‘slices’ fit perfectly. The round barrel was difficult to construct and made joinery very complicated.”
