277- Walnut Nautilus Shell
Lardon made this nautilus shell using a bandsaw technique posted online by Steve Garrison. From the moment he saw the technique, Lardon says, “I was infatuated and knew I would soon focus on creating my first piece. Thirty-plus shells later, I am still looking forward to the next iteration.” Lardon said he enjoyed taking the wood through every step of the process: harvesting, milling, cutting, gluing, sanding, and finishing. “The entire process is very addictive.”
