280- Elegant Desk with Hidden Elements

On this desk, the leather center section of the top slides back to reveal storage space and walnut-veneered trays. A hidden drawer in the center pulls forward using a leather handle. This was VanderLinden’s final project at the Williams and Cleal Furniture School in Somerset, England. “I wanted to create a desk with clean and elegant lines that wasn’t too overpowering, yet had enough unique design details to make it interesting.”
