280-Walnut and Ash Bench

Crawford based his bench on one in Thomas Moser’s book Windsor Chairmaking (Sterling Pub. Co., 1982). The back rail is laminated. The spindles are wedged and glued into the seat and back rail. The legs pass through the seat and are also glued and wedged. The finish is Watco Danish Oil.
