Wall mounted clock and dial with moon sphere.  Driven by a constant torque motor, with the weight retained for visual effect.  (The clock can be converted to a classic weight drive.) The maple and purple heart moon sphere displays the current phase of the moon when viewed from the front.  The woods used in the construction areBaltic birch, maple and purple heart, as well as steel, carbide, and precision ball bearings.  Currently maintaining time within a minute over two weeks.

 

Size 1230mm wide, 1600mm high by 320mm deep.  Suggested height to the centre of the clock from the floor ~1500mm.
