Twisted Trio
Multi-axis turning generates a pleasing twist by using multiple turning centers. The twist often highlights interesting features of the wood grain. Mother nature seldom generates truly round shapes, so why should a turning always be round.

I'm an experienced furnituremaker with a new lathe being delivered soon. I look forward to experimenting with multi-axis turning.
Any suggestions for instruction?
Woodketeer,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I have some tutorials on my website at: http://www.horais.com, but the best site to learn about multi-axis turning is Barbara Dill's site: http://www.barbaradill.com. Barbara is the recognized leader on multi-axis turning and has recently published a book that is available on Amazon. Let me know if you have any questions.
