Really nice. What do you use for the long rail connection to the posts (metal hardware, joinery, bolts...)? I've made only a few beds and haven't yet settled on one method I like best.
I used steel bed rail fasteners that are mortised in. They are often described as heavy duty. I used the 6 inch ones. I bought them years ago but I know Rockler Hardware sells them.
I also believe I noticed Michael Cullen used them on the walnut bed that was in the magazine recently. You could check that out for sources and maybe even instruction.
