Free Standing Skeleton Clock
A freestanding weight driven clock constructed from Baltic birch plywood with walnut accents. The mechanism is designed for a 28 hour run time, so it is wound once per day. Due to the slender support a major resonance issue had to be overcome that would stop the clock at about the 22 hour mark, which it has. Currently running at about 2 minutes per week for accuracy. First freestanding clock and I still wanted to keep to the minimal structure so that the mechanism is the focus for the viewer.
