“I stumbled upon ‘boomerang desks’ while searching online for inspiration for an L-shaped desk to go in a corner,” Roberts said, adding that his design was heavily inspired by an Arne Vodder desk from the 1940s. He says the housed mortise-and-tenon joints in the round legs were one of the most rewarding parts of the project.
