Clearly inspired by Mid-century Modern Scandinavian furniture, but also by Gio Ponti, this bespoke piece is destined to contain the collection of “ingredients” of a cocktail gourmet. The client made a clear demand for a scalloped façade and after wondering how to achieve it, I chose the retrograde way and pulled my hollows and rounds, both for the freedom they would give me and the slight irregularities that would scream hand-made and be in coherence with the dovetails of the case.
