Optical Illusion Grid Cabinet
The box in Kamerath’s grid cabinet might appear to be sliced in half, but that’s an illusion. “Each side is a single piece of sapele carved to appear cleaved,” he said. The grid cabinet is a design that Kamerath has been exploring for a number of years and is influenced by the paintings of Piet Mondrian.
