Black Walnut and Burl Chest of Drawers

A client with a collection of more than 250 traditional crooked knives asked for a chest of drawers to hold some of them. After making this black walnut/burl cabinet and delivering it, Phelps discovered that his client’s ancestors and his own came to the New World on the same ship, the Hercules, in 1634.
