Gentleman’s Writing Desk

This gentleman’s writing desk was designed for a client’s loft living space in a former industrial warehouse. Stanton chose the kidney-bean shape because he wanted to avoid right angles in the design, and keep it from looking too heavy. He built a full-scale mockup of the desk and made sure it would fit before building the actual piece.
