White Oak and Curly Ash Console Table
“The challenge: Build a console table to sit behind a tall loveseat in a timber-frame home,” says Kestenbaum. “It had to be tall and slender, yet stable, preferably introducing some curves.” Using Michael Fortune’s articles as his guide, Kestenbaum embarked on his first project using tapered, bent laminations. Each leg is made up of six tapered plies.
