White Oak Arts and Crafts Table
John built this Arts and Crafts style table for his and his wife’s new home. “We both liked Kevin Rodel’s Limbert inspired coffee table (FWW #252) but felt that it was a bit too bold to live well with our other furnishings,” said John. “The tilt of the legs was inspired by Rodel’s but the split side panels, under-stated shelf, and beveled through-tenons added the traditional look we were going for without directly referencing a specific maker.” By the way, this is the same John Hartman who does illustrations for Fine Woodworking.
