Small apothecary cabinet from alder

Alder cabinet in an minimalist design approach to allow the focus on the structure of the wood. the design is very basis form, inspired from scandinavian design. The design is contemporary and more european (no wonder because I live in germany). I have tried to use and emphasize the imperfections of the wood in the design.
The wood source was a log which I cut with the bandsaw into boards which where then planed by hand into the final size.
The drawer handels are made of old used leather.
