Truncated rectangular pyramid end table
The pyramid sides were cut using a radial arm saw. The saw was set to the desired horizontal angle and the blade tilted to a 45 degree bevel cut.
To help facilitate assembly, a dado cut was made in the center of the beveled edges to accept a glued spline.
The center piece is a true ellipse, drawn using the common pins-and-string method.
