Larsenist Homage
Adapted from a design by Ib Kofod-Larsen, a danish architect, who created a 3-meter long bench with a sub-structure to sustain such a lenght on four feet. This homage of a coffee table is of solid white Oak and assembled with some pinned and some wedged protruding through-tenons.
In the process, I discovered how Mike Pekovich does his ultra-slick joint-pinning 🙂

Wow. This is spectacular! I have always been tempted to attach a table top with through tenons as you did, but have been worried about the top's wood movement, possibly pushing and pulling laterally on the table legs. Did this cross your mind, or am I over concerned about nothing?
