Maple, walnut, and sapelee “wedded rings” bowl
Marc made this “wedded rings” bowl for the marriage of Amanda and Ben, his two dear friends. “I cut a square maple blank on a bias, planed the faces, and sandwiched a thin sheet of walnut,” he said. “After that dried, I cut the block horizontally and inserted a thin sheet of sapele. Turning the resulting blank revealed the embedded interlocking rings!”
